Stripping & Waxing

Restore the Look of Your Commercial Floors

Over time, layers of old finish, dirt, scuff marks and everyday wear can leave hard-surface floors looking dull and tired.

TMT Floor Solutions provides professional stripping and waxing services to remove worn floor finish and restore a clean, fresh appearance.

Our process removes accumulated layers and prepares the floor for a new protective finish, helping your floors look cleaner, brighter and better maintained.

More Than a Quick Cleaning

When Your Floors Need a Fresh Start

Regular mopping can remove surface dirt, but it doesn't remove layers of old floor finish or years of accumulated buildup.

When your floor begins to look dull, discolored or heavily scuffed, stripping and waxing can provide the deeper reset it needs.

Signs Your Floor May Need Stripping & Waxing

Dull or cloudy appearance
Heavy scuff marks
Built-up layers of old finish
Discoloration or yellowing
Floors that no longer respond well to routine cleaning
Uneven or worn areas
A finish that has lost its shine

Vinyl Tile Maintenance

Keep Your Floors Looking Good

Stripping and Waxing can be expensive so it’s important to keep your floors clean and maintained properly to prolong the time between strips.

There are two main services we offer to keep your floor finish clean and shining.

Top Scrub & Recoat

Similar to a strip and wax, a top scrub and recoat involves using an abrasive pad to remove the top layer or two of finish. Effectively removing scuffs, dirt, and debris in the finish. We then apply another few coats of finish which more often results in an even better finish then that of a strip and wax.

Clean & Burnish

Recommended on a monthly basis a clean and burnish consists of a deep clean of the floor followed by a high powered propane burnisher to “polish” the floor and bringing back a beautiful shine.
